Following the development, shares of Persistent Systems soared 6 per cent to Rs 3,755 early Thursday before paring half the gains to trade at Rs 3,663.30 at 10.10 am (IST). The scrip had closed at Rs 3,544.10 on Wednesday.

On the technical charts, the RSI of the stock stood at 45.09.

Pudumjee Paper Products soared 11 per cent to Rs 44.2, whereas JK Paper gained 7 per cent to Rs 238.15 on Thursday.
